Hey all, I'm Paul.

I joined here to read and chat with people of a like mind. Been making a few rounds online at various similar sites.

I am a recent purchaser of a vintage military vehicle.

It may be small, but it still served.

I'm going to be getting it running again, replace what I need to, preserve any parts that come off the bike.

Needs fuel tank cleaned out and sealed, new control cables, fresh maintenance all around, new tires, new seat & a few small parts. The bike ran a few years ago.

I had initially planned for a full restoration one day but would prefer to just get it running well and work out any quirks it has first. I'll gather thoughts, and opinions, on whether a "restoration" is the correct thing to do in the long run. I would like to bring it back to it's original military style and markings at least. I'm a very detail oriented person, coming from model making and making sure every nut and bolt on a model is accurate with research and reaching out to knowledgeable folk.
